Sequel to the last post.

The Last post was about the The Clash of Civilizations / Cultures.

Samuel Huntington might be referring to clash of ideologies and the different religions founded upon those various ideologies, and not exactly between the religions as such. The ideologies being further classified as those that we know as the atheism, the monotheism, and the polytheism. Between the cultures accepting those political philosophies.

Whatever be the inspirations behind them, Gita Chapter 5 may be applicable in understanding their respective role and behavior.

Let us have a glance at these verses :

न कर्तृत्वं न कर्माणि लोकस्य सृजति प्रभुः।।

न कर्मफलसंयोगं स्वभावस्तु प्रवर्तते।।१४।।

नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः।।

अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः।।१५।।

ज्ञानेन तदज्ञानं येषां नाशितमात्मनः।।

तेषां आदित्यवज्ज्ञानं प्रकाशयति तत् परम्।।१६।।

All ideologies follow from the sense of the self as an individual who can strive for attaining a certain ideal, without the slightest idea that all this hypothetical approach is imaginary and in the field of 'thought' only.

Thoughts govern and control the way of every intellectual who has a fascination for certain words. Though the words do not have any specific, definite or certain sense in themselves, motivated by them the intellectual spins out a philosophy and accordingly sets a goal or mission.

The stanzas referred to above narrate the same consequence of all activities that take place because and on account of any and all political ideologies, while the underlying and the steady light of the One Who remains hidden behind them and is the Cause-less cause is lost sight of, unnoticed and unseen. Call that light the Lord, The God, or by whatever name you would like to give, whether you believe or doubt if it is really there, This Cause-less Cause is Awareness of all existence and happenings.

This attribute the Awareness that is the only presiding Reality true and worth the name is verily the only ground and support of all this phenomenon, of this existence.

Through proper enquiry into this, one can sure discover and find out it and become free of all doubt and ignorance.
