आज का श्लोक / 'ह्रियते'

hriyate ('ह्रियते')

pUrvAbhyAsena tenaiva hriyate hyavasho'pi saH |
jijnAsurapi yogasya shabdabrahmAtivartate ||
--
(Chapter 6, shloka 44)
 AyogI, the aspirant for Truth, never falls from the path of yoga,
Though if he dies before reaching the goal of Self-realization,
because 'drawn' by the force of the latent tendencies (sanskAra),
he is 'reborn' in a noble clan  where he comes again in touch with
the right teachings that leads him onto the right path.

पूर्वाभ्यासेन तेनैव  ह्रियते ह्यवशोSपि  सः ।
जिज्ञासुरपि योगस्य शब्दब्रह्माति वर्तते ॥
(अध्याय 6 , श्लोक 44 )

हृ > ह्रियते  > कर्मवाच्य ; (के द्वारा वह) खींचा जाता है ।

अर्थ : जिस योगी की मृत्यु योग की पूर्णता को प्राप्त करने से पहले हो जाती है, ऐसा मनुष्य भी अपने संस्कारों के बल से खींचा जाकर ऐसे कुल में जन्म लेता है, जहाँ उसे ऐसा उपयुक्त वातावरण मिलता  है, जिससे वह पुनः सम्यक मार्ग को ग्रहण कर लेता है ।
