I have been assigned the task of writing about the 'Influences of Gita' in the works of Matthew Arnold.
Only a couple of days ago, I knew he was a great poet of English, and far greater a critic. And like-wise, he was an equally great educationist also. We can take it, he possessed this spirit of 'Mission'-oriented approach towards the meaning, purpose and significance of Life in totality, not the individual only, but concerned with the identification of oneself with every individual and All at the same time.
