’साङ्ख्ये’ / 'sAMkhye'  -  As treated in sAMkhya-shAstra,

Chapter 2, shloka 39,

eShA te'bhihitA sAMkhye
buddhiryoge tvimAM shruNu |
buddhyA yukto yayA pArtha
karmabandhaM prahAsyasi ||
--
Meaning :
Listen to this Yoga of Wisdom as is dealt with in sAMkhya-shAstra. Which, having attained by you, you will be able to destroy the bodage of 'karma'.
(Because no one can escape 'karma' / 'action'. But one can sure learn how to perform the 'karma' with right knowledge / wisdom, in such a way so that the bondage may weaken and is ultimately cut asunder, and one is free.)
--
Chapter 18, shloka 13,

panchaitAni mahAbAho
kAraNAni nibodha me |
sAMkhye kRtAnte proktAni
siddhaye sarvakarmaNAM ||
--
Meaning :
O mahAbAhu (arjuna)! sAMkhya-shAstra, which tells us how to end the (circle of) karma, also tells us about these 5 factors that contribute to the happening of all 'karma' / action. Hear them from Me.
(knowing this, one can understand that all karma / actions, are a play of the 3 aspects of prakRti only, and the Self is eternally, ever free of 'karma', this understanding at once becomes the spark of wisdom that destroys the heaps of 'karma, just like a spark of fire burns-down a heap of cotton to ashes, within seconds.)
