आज का श्लोक, ’सुकृतस्य’ / 'sukRtasya'

’सुकृतस्य’ / 'sukRtasya' - शुभ कर्म का,

अध्याय 14, श्लोक 16,

कर्मणः सुकृतस्याहुः सात्त्विकं निर्मलं फलम् ।
रजसस्तु फलं दुःखमज्ञानं तमसः फलम् ॥

(कर्मणः सुकृतस्य आहुः सात्त्विकम् निर्मलम् फलम् ।
रजसः तु फलम् दुःखम् अज्ञानम् तमसः फलम् ॥)

भावार्थ :
शुभ कर्म का फल तो (शास्त्र में) सात्त्विक तथा निर्मल कहा गया है,  जबकि राजस (रजोगुणयुक्त) कर्म का फल दुःख, तथा तामस कर्म का फल अज्ञान (है, ऐसा कहा गया) है ।

Chapter 14, shloka 16,

karmaNaH sukRtasyAhuH
sAttvikaM nirmalaM phalaM |
rajasaH tu phalaM duHkhaM
ajnAnaM tamasaH phalaM ||

Meaning :
Scriptures say : The fruits of noble deeds / actions is 'sAttvika' - yielding to harmony, peace and happiness. While, the fruits of deeds / actions 'rAjasa' is misery, and those of 'tAmasa' deeds / actions is ignorance.
