आज का श्लोक, - ’साङ्ख्येन’ / 'sAnkhyena'

’साङ्ख्येन’ / 'sAnkhyena' - विवेचन के माध्यम से ।
 
अध्याय 13, श्लोक 24,

ध्यानेनात्मनि पश्यन्ति केचिदात्मानमात्मना ।
अन्ये साङ्ख्येन योगेन कर्मयोगेन चापरे ॥

(ध्यानेन आत्मनि पश्यन्ति केचित्-आत्मानम् आत्मना ।
अन्ये साङ्ख्येन योगेन कर्मयोगेन च अपरे ॥)

भावार्थ :
परमात्मा को कितने ही मनुष्य तो शुद्ध मन-बुद्धि के द्वारा अपने हृदय ही में देख लेते हैं, जबकि अन्य सभी साधक और जिज्ञासु सांख्य-निर्दिष्ट ज्ञान-योग अथवा कर्मयोग के अभ्यास से ।

Chapter 13, shloka 24,

dhyAnenAtmani pashyanti
kechidAtmAnamAtmanA |
anye sAMkhyena yogena
karmayogena chApare ||

Meaning :

Some (seekers try to) see this 'Self' within one's own heart, by means of meditation over it, Some (seekers try to) see this 'Self' within one's own heart, by means of the mind / intellect / consciousness / 'self', Some others (seekers try to) understand this Self and see this 'Self' within one's own heart, by means of deductive approach, and yet some others (seekers try to), see this 'Self' within one's own heart, by means of practicing 'Yoga of Action' / 'karma-yoga'.
