आज का श्लोक, ’विसृजामि’ / ’visṛjāmi’

आज का श्लोक,
’विसृजामि’ / ’visṛjāmi’

’विसृजामि’ / ’visṛjāmi’ - व्यक्त से अव्यक्त में लीन कर देता हूँ,  अव्यक्त से व्यक्त में आविर्भूत कर देता हूँ,

अध्याय 9, श्लोक 7,

सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम् ।
कल्पक्षये पुनस्तानि कल्पादौ विसृजाम्यहम् ॥

(सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिम् यान्ति मामिकाम् ।
कल्पक्षये पुनः तानि कल्पादौ विसृजामि अहम् ॥)
--
भावार्थ :
हे कौन्तेय (अर्जुन) ! कल्प के अन्त में समस्त भूतों का मेरी (अपरा) प्रकृति में लय हो जाता है, और कल्प के आरंभ में मैं उन्हें पुनः सृजित करता हूँ ।

अध्याय 9, श्लोक 8,
--
प्रकृतिं स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुनः पुनः ।
भूतग्रामिमं कृत्स्नमवशं प्रकृतेर्वशात् ॥८
--
(प्रकृतिम् स्वाम्-अवष्टभ्य वि-सृजामि पुनः पुनः ।
भूतग्रामम्-इमम् कृत्स्नम्-अवशम् प्रकृतेः वशात् ॥)
--
भावार्थ :
अपनी प्रकृति को वश में करके, मैं इस सारे भूत-समुदाय की बारंबार रचना (और संहार) करता हूँ क्योंकि यह संपूर्ण समुदाय प्रकृति के गुणों से वशीभूत है ।

’विसृजामि’ / ’visṛjāmi’ - (I) bring into manifestation, (I) bring back them into the latent state of existence,

Chapter 9, śloka 7,

sarvabhūtāni kaunteya
prakṛtiṃ yānti māmikām |
kalpakṣaye punastāni
kalpādau visṛjāmyaham ||
--
(sarvabhūtāni kaunteya
prakṛtim yānti māmikām |
kalpakṣaye punaḥ tāni
kalpādau visṛjāmi aham ||)
--
Meaning :
O kaunteya (arjuna)! At the time of dissolution, at the end of the kalpa (a day of brahmā), all  beings dissolve into My prakṛti, and at the beginning of the kalp, I bring them into manifestation / life.

Chapter 9, śloka 8,

prakṛtiṃ svāmavaṣṭabhya
visṛjāmi punaḥ punaḥ |
bhūtagrāmimaṃ kṛtsna-
mavaśaṃ prakṛtervaśāt ||
--
(prakṛtim svām-avaṣṭabhya
vi-sṛjāmi punaḥ punaḥ |
bhūtagrāmam-imam kṛtsnam-
avaśam prakṛteḥ vaśāt ||)
--
With the support of My  prakṛti (Material-aspect), I (Consciousness-aspect) repeatedly create (and again withdraw them in My-self) these beings, whenever I manifest Myself as Creation (sṛṣṭi) and dissolution (pra-laya) of the Existence. These beings, being governed by the 3 qualities inherent in prakṛti, are subject to repeated births and deaths accordingly.

 Note :
1.The prefix 'vi' in saṃskṛta language alters the meaning of the word attached to it in various ways.
'vi' gives the sense of opposite / different / specific / contrary according to the context.
2. This post was written 2 days ago but as it was not in strict accordance with the order of word-index, I deleted and posted today again.
