आज का श्लोक,

अध्याय 10, श्लोक 11,

तेषामेवानुकम्पार्थमहमज्ञानजं तमः ।
नाशयाम्यात्मभावस्थो ज्ञानदीपेन भास्वता ॥

(तेषाम् एव अनुकम्पार्थम् अहम् अज्ञानजम् तमः ।
नाशयामि आत्मभावस्थः ज्ञानदीपेन भास्वता ॥)

भावार्थ :
उन (मुझमें समर्पित चित्तयुक्त, मुझमें ही प्राण हैं जिनके, ...श्लोक 10 के अनुक्रम में आगे) पर अनुग्रह करते हुए, उनकी दृष्टि को रुद्ध करनेवाले अज्ञान से उत्पन्न हुए अन्धकार (मिथ्या ज्ञान) का मैं उनके अन्तर्तम में ज्ञान का दीप प्रज्ज्वलित करता हूँ और उसके आलोक से उस अन्धकार को मिटाता हूँ ।

Chapter 10, śloka 11,

teṣāmevānukampārtha-
mahamajñānajaṃ tamaḥ |
nāśayāmyātmabhāvastho
jñānadīpena bhāsvatā ||

(teṣām eva anukampārtham
aham ajñānajam tamaḥ |
nāśayāmi ātmabhāvasthaḥ
jñānadīpena bhāsvatā ||)

Meaning :
Upon them (those who have dedicated themselves to ME, have their very being merged in ME, .... as described in the earlier  śloka 10, ...) I shower MY Grace, ro remove the darkness (tamaḥ) that is spread before them and they are surrounded by because of their ignorance (false knowledge). I lit the lamp of awareness of the Self that is shining ever there in their heart, and let the light destroy their darkness.
