आज का श्लोक,  ’रताः’ / ’ratāḥ’

’रताः’ / ’ratāḥ’ - संलग्न, रत,

अध्याय 5, श्लोक 25,
लभन्ते ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृषयः क्षीणकल्मषाः ।
छिन्नद्वैधा यतात्मानः सर्वभूतहिते रताः
--
(लभन्ते ब्रहनिर्वाणम् ऋषयः क्षीणकल्मषाः ।
छिन्नद्वैधाः यतात्मानः सर्वभूतहिते रताः
--
भावार्थ :
जिनके समस्त पाप नष्ट हो गए हैं, जिनके समस्त संशय छिन्न हो चुके हैं, आत्मा के निदिध्यासन में सतत संलग्न, सम्पूर्ण प्राणियों के हित में रत ऐसे ऋषि परब्रह्मरूपी शान्ति में प्रतिष्ठित हो जाते हैं ।

अध्याय 12, श्लोक 4,

सन्नियम्येन्द्रियग्रामं सर्वत्र समबुद्धयः ।
ते प्राप्नुवन्ति मामेव सर्वभूतहितेरताः
--
(संनियम्य इन्द्रियग्रामम् सर्वत्र समबुद्धयः ।
ते प्राप्नुवन्ति माम् एव सर्वभूतहिते रताः ॥)
--
भावार्थ :
अपनी समस्त इन्द्रियों को भली प्रकार से नियन्त्रण में रखते हुए, सर्वत्र समदृष्टि रखते हुए जो सब भूतों के हित में संलग्न रहते हैं, वे मुझको प्राप्त हो जाते हैं ।
--

’रताः’ / ’ratāḥ’ - busy, occupied with,

Chapter 5,  śloka 25,

labhante brahmanirvāṇam-
ṛṣayaḥ kṣīṇakalmaśāḥ |
chinnadvaidhā yatātmānaḥ
sarvabhūtahite ratāḥ ||

(labhante brahanirvāṇam
ṛṣayaḥ kṣīṇakalmaṣāḥ |
chinnadvaidhāḥ yatātmānaḥ
sarvabhūtahite ratāḥ ||
--
Meaning :
Those with all their sins destroyed, and all their doubts cleared away, the sages (ṛṣayaḥ) ever engaged in the contemplation of the Self, ever concerned with the the welfare of all beings, attain the brahmanirvāṇam (Brahman, the form of peace ultimate).
--

Chapter 12, śloka 4,

sanniyamyendriyagrāmaṃ
sarvatra samabuddhayaḥ |
te prāpnuvanti māmeva
sarvabhūtahiteratāḥ ||
--
(saṃniyamya indriyagrāmam
sarvatra samabuddhayaḥ |
te prāpnuvanti mām eva
sarvabhūtahite ratāḥ ||)
--
Meaning :
Those who keeping the senses well under control, always with even-mind devoted for the welfare of all beings, they also attain Me.
 --
Chapter 12, śloka 4,

Meaning :
Those who keeping the senses well under control, look at all with the same disposition always with even-mind devoted for the welfare of all beings, they do attain Me.
