आज का श्लोक,

अध्याय 2, श्लोक 51,

कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः ।
जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्त्यनामयम् ॥

(कर्मजम् बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलम् त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः ।
जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदम् गच्छन्ति अनामयम् ॥)

भावार्थ :
क्योंकि बुद्धियोग में दृढ़ता से स्थित हुए ज्ञानी कर्म से उत्पन्न हुए फल को त्यागते हुए, जन्मरूपी बन्धन से छूटकर अविकारी पद को प्राप्त हो जाते हैं ।

karmajaṃ buddhiyuktā hi
phalaṃ tyaktvā manīṣiṇaḥ |
janmabandhavinirmuktāḥ
padaṃ gacchantyanāmayam ||

(karmajam buddhiyuktā hi
phalam tyaktvā manīṣiṇaḥ |
janmabandhavinirmuktāḥ
padam gacchanti anāmayam ||)

Meaning :
Because the wise, the well-established in the yoga of Intelligence (buddhiyōga), giving up the fruits born of action, having cut the bondage of birth, attain the state immutable, The Supreme.
